Ber honey from our own bee farm, with a mild, distinctive taste

Ber, also known as Indian jujube or Ziziphus mauritiana, is a thorny tree found across the Indian plains. When it flowers, our bees collect its tiny blossoms and turn the nectar into this honey. The taste is [soft and smooth with a gentle fruity edge], and it comes entirely from the flower, not from anything we put in afterwards.

Every jar is filled at our own bee farm, so the honey never passes through traders or third-party suppliers. What the bees make is what you open at home.

Ber blossom honey, not ber-flavoured honey

A "ber honey" label can sometimes mean ordinary honey with ber essence mixed in. Ours is made differently: the bees visit ber flowers, and we add nothing to their honey. Ber blooms for a limited period only, which is why this honey is seasonal.

How to use

• Stir into warm (not boiling) water, tea or warm milk

• Drizzle over oats, curd, pancakes, toast or fruit

• Use as a natural sweetener in smoothies, desserts and dressings

• Enjoy a spoonful on its own

Storage and Crystallisation

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the lid tightly closed. Use a clean, dry spoon every time. Honey can crystallise over time, which is natural and not a sign of spoilage. To liquefy it, place the closed jar in lukewarm water for a few minutes. Do not microwave it.
