Jamun honey with a deep amber colour and a bold, tangy-bitter taste
Nativaa Organic Jamun Honey is collected during the jamun blossom season, when bees forage on the flowers of the jamun tree (Syzygium cumini, also called Indian blackberry). The result is a dark amber honey with a thick texture, a full sweetness and a mildly tangy, slightly astringent finish. It tastes noticeably different from regular floral honey.
Direct from our bee farms and packed into a 650g glass jar, Nativaa Jamun Honey is gently strained to remove naturally occurring floral bits. We handle every jar with care without high heat or heavy factory processing, and we never blend our honey with sugar syrups—bringing you pure honey as close to the hive as possible.
Colour: Deep amber to dark brown

Enjoy a spoonful on its own
Naturally lower in glycemic impact than refined sugar, Jamun honey is a favoured choice for diabetes-aware lifestyles. While a smarter natural swap, it is still a carbohydrate—use in moderation under medical guidance.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the lid tightly closed. Use a clean, dry spoon every time. Honey can thicken or crystallise, and this is natural and not spoilage. To bring it back to a liquid texture, place the closed jar in lukewarm water for a few minutes. Do not microwave it.
100% pure and natural: no added sugar, no artificial flavours, no colours.
Pure & Gently Handled: Carefully strained and packed with care to retain its natural character.
Directly from our own bee farm.
Single-source jamun nectar: a distinctive dark colour and bold flavour.
Glass jar packaging: keeps the honey fresh and is reusable.
Jamun honey has a bold, rich flavor that sets it apart from ordinary sweet honey. It combines a natural, flowers sweetness with a subtle, fruity-bittersweet note—giving you the authentic taste and aroma of fresh Jamun blossoms.
It is 100% pure single-source honey. We collect nectar strictly during the Jamun blooming season directly from our farms. Unlike commercial brands, we never blend it with cheaper multi-flower honeys or syrups, preserving its natural dark color and distinct bittersweet flavor.
Natural crystallization is a property of pure honey. Gently warm the jar in lukewarm water to reliquefy—do not boil.
Store at room temperature in a dry place with the lid tightly closed. Avoid refrigeration.

Raw Jamun honey has a naturally lower glycemic index than regular processed honeys and refined sugar, making it a preferred choice for health-conscious and diabetes-aware diets. However, it still contains natural fruit sugars, so portion control and medical advice are recommended.
Unlike commercially heated honey that is adulterated with high-GI glucose syrups, single-origin raw Jamun honey retains natural fructose, pollen, and active enzymes. This results in a slower digestion rate and a steadier glycemic response.
People with diabetes should have jamun honey only after consulting their doctor or dietitian and following the guidelines given for their condition. Honey contains natural sugars (glucose and fructose) and can raise blood sugar levels, just like other sweeteners. If your doctor permits it, they usually advise:
Keeping the portion very small, as suggested for your individual diet plan
Counting it within your daily sugar or carbohydrate limit, not as an extra
Checking your blood sugar after consuming it to see how your body responds
Having it with a balanced meal rather than on an empty stomach
Jamun honey is a natural sweetener, not a treatment for diabetes, and it should never replace prescribed medicines, insulin, or a doctor-approved diet. This information is for general awareness only and is not medical advice. Please consult a qualified doctor before adding honey to your diet.
The main jamun honey benefits come from its natural, minimally processed nature and its plant compounds. Here is what people value it for:
Natural sweetener: It can replace refined sugar in tea, oats, curd, or smoothies, in small quantities.
Antioxidant content: Its dark colour points to polyphenols and other plant compounds that act as antioxidants.
Throat comfort: A teaspoon in warm water is a traditional way to soothe a scratchy throat.
Everyday wellness: It fits easily into morning routines with warm water, ginger, or tulsi.
Bold, distinctive taste: Its rich, slightly tangy flavour works in drinks, desserts, and dressings.
These benefits come from moderate use (about 1 to 2 teaspoons a day) alongside a balanced diet. Jamun honey is a food, not a medicine, and it does not treat or cure any disease. People with diabetes should consult their doctor before using it.
