Litchi honey from our own bee farm, with a light, fruity-floral taste

Nativaa Organic Litchi Honey is made by bees at our own bee farm where they forage on litchi (lychee) blossoms during the short spring flowering season. It has a [light, sweet, fruity-floral taste]. The litchi character comes from the flowers the bees visit, not from anything added to the jar.

Because it comes directly from our bee farm, we know how it was made from start to finish. There is no middleman, no sugar syrup and no blending with other honey. It is packed in a 650 g glass jar.

Litchi honey vs litchi-flavoured honey

Some products are plain honey with added litchi flavour or essence. Nativaa Litchi Honey is different: the bees collect nectar from litchi flowers, and nothing is added afterwards. Litchi trees bloom for only a few weeks each year, so this is a seasonal honey.

How to use

• Stir into warm (not boiling) water, lemon water, tea or warm milk

• Drizzle over oats, curd, pancakes, toast or fruit

• Use as a natural sweetener in smoothies, desserts and dressings

• Enjoy a spoonful on its own

Storage and crystallisation

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the lid tightly closed. Use a clean, dry spoon every time. Honey can crystallise over time, which is natural and not a sign of spoilage. To liquefy it, place the closed jar in lukewarm water for a few minutes. Do not microwave it.
